Halloween Spun Cotton Sneak Peek!

It's a Mugging!

Actually, it's a mug shot of the miniature spun cotton top hat ghoul I have created for the EHAG Emporium, which opens its online doors on August 31 at 9 pm EST. My fellow Halloween artists and I will have  lots of October 31 themed art available for purchase. So grab your favorite brew and head on over to the blog at the strike of 9 pm Wednesday this week to see all the new art!

This is a sneak peek close up of the tiny top hatted ghoul who came to life while I was working away on my collection of Halloween spun cotton creations for my upcoming blog sale, Sept. 18, and the Halloween art show Spirits in Sanford

Hope you will join me for one or both events!

Graveyard Haunts

Scaredy Cat! Now in my Etsy Shop

Using techniques from Victorian times, I have created a spun cotton black cat spooked by a ghostly apparition at a nearby headstone, which is paper mache. It is now available in my Etsy Shop. I have painted a ghost coming from the ground in addition to adding a skull and pumpkin face at the top and skeleton hands around the ghost.

A spun cotton gnarled tree almost reaches out to grab the cat. Two spun cotton pumpkins sit at the base of the headstone. One is a tiny jack o lantern. I have sprinkled the feel of fall at the base.

All sit on a wooden base and are firmly attached. Black dresden trims the edge. The piece is 9" tall and 8" wide.

Check out all my offerings in Etsy, including my Halloween watercolor prints.
